New conservatory

I had a quote from Everest last night for a 4x4m aluminium conservatory with a 3/4 wall on one side and a set of bifolding doors on the other side. This came to 26k. I have had other quotes for a upvc unit but they advised not to get upvc bi folding doors as they warp and people have problems with them.
Can anyone give me a bit of extra advice on Everest? Any recommendations or problems people have had.

£26K is a joke, you can get a full blown extension with knobs on for that price! Everest are not highly regarded in terms of providing good value.

I have had another quote for £17k. This was for a upvc conservatory with upvc bifolding doors. Do the upvc doors work/last well?
