new driveway

I,m about to start on a concrete slab for off street parking. what I had in mind was , four inches mot type 1, and six inches of concrete with ,with steel mesh. is this about right, or is it overkill?, many thanks for any help given.

Yep that is a sensible spec for a domestic driveway. If its a big area you could cut that down to 5'' If not then an extra inch wont have much of a cost difference and worth it for peace of mind.
