Hi,
I am building a 2m X 1.8m garden wall (with 1m opening for gate) between the side elevation of my house and the side elevation of my neighbours elevations.
I am planning to use wall ties on both elevations to ensure the new wall if firmly secured to neighbouring buildings.
Is there any benefit using DPC to avoid bridging? If so what is the best method eg lap into the house dpc, lap up or down?
Also is there any benefit in using dpc under the wall starter?
Sorry if this sounds like a daft question, a simple mistake could have severe consequences; hence want to get a better understanding.
TIA
