Hi
Our garage has a concrete floor. We're looking to lay laminate flooring. Do we need to put down damp proof membrane or vapour barrier? Are they the same? And then Underlay. Fibreboard or foam, not sure which one to go with. Any help thanks.

Yes to both- polythene on the floor then underlay above it. DPM is a bit heavier duty than vapour barrier, prob best using it since there'll be a bit of pressure on it. I prefer the green felt rectangles rather than the rolls of foam (bit more depth in the green stuff to flat out any dips and bumps in the garage floor)
