New Plastic Bath, Small Damage?

I have a newish white plastic bath and this morning the wife dropped the metal waste plug from the sink into the bath, whilst cleaning it. This has caused a small dent about 1cm long and obviously a mark. I have tried polishing it with Mer, but no luck, is there anything I can do to improve the look, could someone like a bath doctor help?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if you can still get Bath rubbers ?
I have one that was given to me by a Rep in 1983
It will remove marks and blemishes.

Yeah, you can still get them, i got mine at plumbcentre, removes small dints and scratches, really useful after the tilers finished
