Hi All,

We're doing some work in a house and ideally wanting to install a vertical radiator in the kitchen as currently it has nothing. Ideal space for it at one end of the room where previously used to be a central fireplace. The chimney and everything else has all been removed apart from the cement hearth under the tiles, but I believe this is supported on an old asbestos sheet/CACS within the void. Unfortunate as the central heating pipes run pretty much directly underneath it too so roughing out pipes for it would have been straight forward. The walls are solid brick. Fairly easy access to the void currently before we put new flooring down, have created hatches in various places but still need some crawling about.

I have a plumber coming in a few weeks to do a bathroom who said he would do it at the same time, but trying to come up with a solution of getting the pipes through the floor without having to touch or drill through the CACS, so would appreciate any alternative ideas people have.

Thanks
