I have just moved a radaitor into the bay window to save space but when I have lifted the floorboards to feed in the pipes I have noticed that there is a large joist running around the perimitor of the bay window floor and stops 25cm outside the bay.
I am using 10mm microbore and dont want to lift the skirting boards and feed it round as its quite awkard to bend. is it acceptable to have the pipe emerging from the floor 25cm away from the bay window then clipped to the bottom of the skirting board then up to the valves and covered by the carpet? or does the pipe need to be raised to the middle of the skirting board.
I dont see how it coud be a problem as when the carpet fitter comes he will would see the pipe anyway if it is at the bottom of the skirting board but would be more asthetically pleasing if it was concealed by the carpat.
