new radiator

I have just purchased a rad and where the radiator valves screw into, there are plug in the rad that I think may be transit plugs from the instructions.

Do these just screw out ?
I dont want to do any damage ot it, the transit plug has a very large cross that none of my scewdrivers are large enough for.

Maybe I'm asking a simple or silly question but just not sure.
