Afternoon all,
After a steer/guidance please,
New roof on a 2 storey extension was installed last year.
Make up is a vaulted ceiling, build up is
- Marley Concrete Tiles
- Batten
- Breathable Membrane
- 150mm Truss
- 100mm PIR between truss
- 40mm PIR across underside of truss
- Batten (Service Void)
- Plasterboard
There's vents over the fascia board and a dry vent ridge system as well.
Admittedly I've been slow to fully seal the roof with PIR and the I've only a temporary 1st floor installed meaning there's lots of air from the new rear extension that can circulatenand make its way up and through to the membrane.
If I get it sealed pronto will that reduce the condensation and allow it to dry off?
Cheers
