Are there any tradespeople who repair electric showers and power showers?
They all want to install a new one, without bothering to check that the fault may only be a £10 solenoid. Is it ignorance or profiteering, or both?

If it were a £10 part, the opportunity for profiteering would be far greater than fitting a new shower. We don't get new appliances for free you know.

I'll all fault diagnose first then depending on fault/parts available/cost go from there if to fix/replace.

I find those that always opt for replace are those that have not got the knowledge of electric/power showers.
