New Shower and Wattage

I need a new electric shower and I am uncertain if it is a 8 or 9Wwh. There are no markings on the shower etc and the shower model comes in both. How do I know what Kwh the cable will take?

Obviously I dont want to put in a 9Kwh shower for a cable that only takes 8

FYI - kWh is a measure of energy used over a period of time. A 1W LED nightlight will use nearly 9kWh if left on for a year, but the current in the cable will only be about 4mA.
