Hi all, I have just fitted a nice new 10.5 kw shower in my flat. I do plumbing quite alot, but only a bit of electrics. I have got to uprate my shower mains to 10mm to go with a 45A MCB, and just want to ask.
When fitting the new cable to the comsumer unit, do I need to isolate the incoming mains to the box? If so, how ? I cannot find another switch from the meter to the unit.

cheers

Ap.

no, only the main switch.

HOWEVER do be aware that the connections to the top of the main switch will still be LIVE
