I have had a combi boiler fitted a year or so back but kept the old electric shower.
I am wanting to install just a mixer tap with a fixed shower head in a studed wall.

The electric shower just has the cold supply going from the boiler. Would I be able to pipe the hot water supply from the sink which is the other side of the studed wall.

I am a complete novice so if there is more to it then please advise.

You can just extend the hot supply from any convenient point. However the shower mixing valve should be thermostatic, or at least balanced, to cope with temperature variations.
