New Sink tap and Combi firing up when cold switched off

I have just installed a new single lever mono mixer tap in the kitchen. A combi boiler is installed. The hot water works fine but when any of the cold water taps in the house are switch on and then off the combi boiler will fire up for a very short period as the tap is switch off!!!

Would fitting non return valves on the new tap solve this?

Yes - Mixer is IKEA Bagvik single lever

What sort of mixer tap is it? Does it mix the H/C in the tap, or only in the bowl?

Mixes in the tap. It has a single lever which controls on/off and temperature - standard type.

Outside chance it is getting a back feed or cross feed

When the cold water is turned on from newly installed Twyford ceramic disc mixer tap in bathroom the direct hot water from the Baxi Duo Tec combi boiler in the kitchen fires up momentarily and fan runs. This is similar problem to previous posting
