I am thinking of replacing the 1930s floors in my hallway (which I am lifting to insulated below) with solid floors. And though, maybe just put down new boards like these:

Old floors are nailed down, which is effective. I have being screwing new floorboards down, but have been carpeting / vinyl over them, so not bothered about screw holes.
How best to fit these floors? Old fashioned nails?
