Its doesnt sound right so not good?
Which overflow- from the f&e tank or the hot water header tank?

The devil is in the detail.
It would help to know if any expansion pipe is pumping over, if any loft tank/cistern gets warmer than normal after after running the system and indeed from which tank the overflow is coming.
Did the installer fit a new additional tank in the loft?
