Can you post a photo of the store, as has been said it may not a gravity but pumped coil.

FWIW I can`t see any thermal store being fitted with a coil suitable for a gravity circuit Would be interested if there is a specific beast .

But ordinary indirect cylinders can use gravity circuits?

Ordinary as in a coil suitable for gravity I just kind of guessed that all the new ones (from China ) would only work on a pumped system due to making the coil smaller i.d and shorter etc.

19 th. century technology - solid fuel/gravity ( thermosyphon) circuit . Been fitted by a 21st. Century plumber. Like asking a BMW race mechanic to shoe a horse
