Apologies to all for not being clearer - we wanted single mixer taps on both the bath and basin.

It's questionable whether the hot water pressure is up to it, so we will discount the taps requiring 0.5 bar min. Can we not still go for single lever mixer taps without replumbing the cold to come from the tank in the loft?

I didn't know I had and wouldn't do so on purpose. I'm using a handheld pocket PC to post today and maybe the screen size caused me to miss this, I'll be more careful.

Thanks everyone for the advice given here, I'm going to change our tap selection and plumb the cold from the tank above.
