Hi all,

Trying to buy taps for my bathroom is proofing to be rather troublesome.

Current set up:
Bathroom is on first floor and fed from combo-boiler (hot water) & rising main (cold water).

We have no worries regarding cold water flow but are concerned with the hot tap. Flow rate at each tap is around 8.5litres/minute. Is this about average for such a system? Should we limit ourselves to low pressure taps?
Ideally we want waterfall mixer taps for both the basin and bath.

Thanks

Maybe low flow rate but water from main/combi is regarded as high pressure (usually). Your taps should be suitable for high pressure.

Don't buy cheapo BANDQ taps. I found them very noisy at part flow, you could hear them next door!

I changed them for Grohe which are really quiet and well made but expensive if bought at the normal retail price. Just find the model number you want then search them down to the lowest price with Google.

I had the same problem when I was installing my new bathroom. I went for a Dunk Waterfall tap which has worked perfectly and it wasn't that expensive. :D
