Hi all.

About 4 years ago we had an eighties avocado bath with 2 separate taps which filled the bath nicely with hot water. We changed the bathroom suite and taps and haven't been able to have a bath since!

I gather this is due to the tap being suitable for a high pressure system whereas we have a low pressure gravity fed system.

From what I can gather we have about 0.15 bar hot water pressure (approx. 1.5m from tap height to ceiling height) so I would like to change the bath tap(s).

Are there any bath taps that are modern in style (wife friendly) but will supply decent flow on a system with 0.1 bar or so pressure? Could I attach 22mm copper piping directly to them or will they be a 15mm fitting?

I've also read something about full bore lever isolation valves but I don't know what on earth that means. The rest of it I understand - just!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks both. Unfortunately the wife has rejected the screwfix taps and a lot of the low pressure taps i find are for 0.2 or 0.3 bar minimum. I maybe just about have 0.2 bar but would rather be cautious and get ones that work on 0.1 bar minimum.
