Hi, I've built a couple of retaining walls on the garden boundary and now want to render and finish with a tyrolean finish. I've got 50/50 sand, cement, waterproof PVA, a bag of hydrated lime and a plastisiser. The block walls are pretty true and should not need a very thick rendering. I just need a little help with what do I do first , strengths, and mix ratios and thicknesses. Any comments very much appreciated.

What are the walls made of? Brick or dense block.

Alex

4" concrete block, the walls are 2m high and have an earth bank on one side about 1.6m high.
