Hi,
I'm new to this board, and need some expert advice.

The majority of radiators in my house are warm at the bottom and cold at the top at best, some are entirely cold.

When i bleed them, air does hiss out, then it stops, then it hisses out again, on and on, etc.. but no water comes out. The inlet/oulet pipes are hot going to the rads. The problem is still there though.

I'm having the system flushed; and an sludge breakdown chemical put into the system 48 hours before to help.

Will this solve it? Or do i need a new boiler? (mine is 25 years old)

It should help and you should consider a Magnaclean too with a system that age.

Good luck :D
