New Triton shower keeps cutting out

Hi

Our old Triton electric shower started cutting out. It will run fine for 2-3 minutes then cut out completely (no water, all lights turn off on the display). If left for 10 mins or so it will then turn back on, run for another minute or so and then turn off again.

So thought the solenoid valve had gone. Went out and bought a new Triton electric shower and the same thing is happening.

Any ideas? or have I simply got a faulty unit?

Triton must be the worst make!

But it sounds as if you may be losing power.

To check that you need to be able to test at the supply point which needs following adequate safety provisions.

I often attach a small mains neon indicator to the appliance.
