Took delivery of a miele premier 520 washing machine yesterday from comet clearance.
Machine is supposed to be unused and came with transit bolts intact.
Done a couple of washes and seems to wash okay, but it makes a worrying/annoying wheezing noise when the drum is moving slowly on wash (not on spin).
Sounds like the noise a wind up radio/torch makes when you charge up the dynamo.
I'm going to contact comet about it, but thought I'd see if I could get an idea of the cause first.
When it was delivered the delivery guy was a bit brutal in removing one of the transit bolts (he bent the spanner doing it). I removed the 2nd one with ease after following the instructions. Any chance that could have affected the drum?
