washing machine drum

gat a wash machine 6yrs old zanussi aquacycle 1000 when turned on it makes a terrible noise and its very stiff to turn drum by hand
cant see anything thats stopping it?
is it a new machine or should i look at getting it repaired??

Bearings are shot bearings required and possibly new inner drum usually the most expensive repair and longest labour time try to get an estimate.

Thank you for the reply sounds like what you said as when i push pull drum i hear a nocking sound like bearings
