New Washing machine

I have never installed a w/m b4. I have moved into this house and bought a new w/m. But I cant understand how to install the w/m. I can see where the dirty waterr should go, and can connect that. But I cant figure out where the tap water should go to the w/m. The w/m suppliers have provided a pipe but I cant see where to fit it on my kitchen plumbing. I cant see any taps but I can see a sort of a red screw and a blue screw. I am assuming these may be to indicate a hot water pipe and a cold water pipe. But I dont know if I need to buy taps and attach them or what. It just dosent make any sense to me. Can someone please help.

did previous owners have a washing m/c ? put yours where theirs was. also as for how to connect it open the door of your new m/c take out the plastic bag inside and read the manual
