washing machine waste

hi all.

im relocating my washing machine to a utility room at the back of the house. the soil stack is at the front of the house and water drain pipe at the back. can i connect the w/m waste into the drain pipe? if no...whats the reason?

thanks in advance :?
 
If your running the waste to the drain pipe, you may as well just run it straight to the gully, not sure of the regulation regarding connection of drain pipe and waste.
You can go into the stack.
