New Worcester Boiler fitted

Is it a requirement to clean the heating system before fitting a new Worcester Bosch boiler to meet the warranty policy?

If so, what should be done? Power or chemical clean? How long to clean?

I think my installer did not carry this out. How does one check it's been done?

Get your installer to do a water sample test and send it via either Fernox/adey/sentinel there the company that make chemicals to keep/clean heating systems, you then get a certificate to confirm either way! Good luck but give your installer a chance maybe he has to come back to clean system

The installer has had three chances to get it right. Numerous problems............grrrrr

Apologies. Thanks for the advice. I shall get 'another' installer to do a check.

it can be done by chemicals or power flush . depending on previous situation

As suspected no cleaning was done and water in the system is 100% water. No fernox or anything.
