nice bath

Hi all, I recently bought a house, lucky me some may say. There are two nice new baths, with that sort of shell shape to the back and the soap dish. What I have found though is that both of them allow water to build up behind that shape at the back of the bath, which then flows down onto the floor. Does anybody have any advice for stopping this, other than re-seating the bath, i.e. small tiles stuck to the edge of the bath? like a gutter I suppose.
