I've been asked to tile a large floor in a extension,its a floating floor with wet underfloor heating/spreader plates under 22mm chipwood.I told the customer that it would need ply over the top,he has however recently purchased all the tiles (750x750) and the supplier has shown him the plastic ply system-plastic self adhesive grid 2mm thick.Looking on thier website it seems ok at first glance however after speaking direct t othe supplier i cant get a straight answer-as it clearly states may not be suitable for floating floors...anyone used this before and got any thoughts?
