No-one can deny or overstate the contribution Nigel has made to the British way of life and our freedoms. No-one.

But, in Makerfield, he risks splitting the patriotic vote with Restore and ushering in the HORROR of an unelected, unaccountable, Burnham government. You think Starmer is bad. Wait until you see what this guy has in store for you.

Reform is now looking weak on immigration (yes, it is good that they have a policy on the issue of immigrants in social housing, but it is weak, apologetic even) and, much as he is a nice guy and has done great work as a councillor in Wigan, he does not compare to the quality that Rebecca Shepherd will bring as an MP.

This is why, with a heavy heart I ask Nigel, on behalf of the British people, to stand down in Makerfield. Restore is rising fast in the polls there - lightning fast - but there is still some risk the vote will be divided on election day. The consequences of that do not bear thinking about. Do the right thing Nigel - as you always have done - and stand aside for Britain.

And, as is disappointingly common, the bitter unrepresentative left wing minority chimes in to talk down Britain rather than engage with the points raised.

the bitter
I'm not the bitter one.
Quite the reverse, you claim to be horrified:
the HORROR of an unelected, unaccountable, Burnham government

unrepresentative left wing minority
You're being very presumptuous in claiming to know whether the right or the left are a minority until the election.

to talk down Britain
How have I talked down Britain, please elucidate.

rather than engage with the points raised.
I specifically addressed two of your points in your comment.

The far right failed the UK...

Sadly some of those who fail to acknowledge that fact now wish to go far far right...

They must truly hate the UK!

Is far far the new far? How far will you go with this? Will it then extend to far far far right?

They must truly hate the UK!
It is the left that hate the UK, I do think you know that! Yet if we all agree then we would all be bored.

Actually the 'left' or those that occupy the centre ground don't tend to employ 'hate' in general in their politics...

The far right of course hate anyone who they don't equate as being their 'equals'...

You know, those of a different skin, race, or religion...

But then you get the far far right, who hate the far right because they don't hate others as much as they do ;)

It’s Rupe who’s bitter and unrepresentative, max 6 or 7 per cent of the national vote. How ironic that right wing candidates who exploited splits in the mainstream parties have fallen prey to their own divide and rule rhetoric.
