Nissan Terrano2 Won't start....Help

Hi one and all,

I'm not using the car at the moment ( completing import papers) but I give it a look over each weekend, start it up and let it run for a bit.
So this weekend it won't start..........there is no power to anything, turn the key....nothing, even the little red light on the radio has stopped flashing. Dead battery me thinks, so I try to jump start it with the wifes car. Same result no lights, no ignition, nothing.
At this point my mind goes blank. Anyone any ideas???

Take off both battery terminals and clean them right up. Quite often get a white crust on them which stops a current getting through
