Hi guys great site hopefully u can help me.

I have a ideal logic combi the hot water works fine but the central heating does not work correctly. It lights up but gets up to temp in second and does not send any heat down the flow. I looked at the pump but it sounds like it spins. Any ideas?

When was it installed? Has it always been like this? Why aren't you calling your installer back?

It's been in only four months it's actually a friends. I just started at collage so he asked if I'd have a look for him. There is a magna clean on. It so would assume the system is pretty clean.

The presence of a Magnaclean doesn't automatically mean the system is clean. I'd still say get the installer back to take a look at it, if you've only just started college you don't really know what you're doing and could end up making things worse

A 'collage' is sticking bits of paper!

Chalk up another dead Ideal

Mind you this sounds like a jammed diverter valve. Installer back time.... 'cos ideal will be laughing all the way to the "address black list " screen when you "friend "calls.
