Hi
Ive bought a very remote listed property not connected to gas.
The property has been fitted, by the previous owner, with new electric heaters made by ecostrad, so dont really want to remove these as they seem quite efficient, if more costly to run.. fitting pipes to standard radiators would be problematic due to exposed stone walls
The hot water is via a very old hot and small hot water tank with immersion , i need to replace this with something more efficient. Its a 3 bed 2 bathroom property with no baths and two showers.
Im looking at options to get a better hot water supply
1. New unvented direct cylinder approx 210l with emersion heaters
2. Sunamp or similar instant hot water battery
3. Hot water only boiler with tank
Cant do solar as there is a restriction due to location, I could possibly get away with lpg tanks, but probably not oil as there is little room for a tank.
Any other ideas or the best option from above?
Thanks
