Hi all
I know nothing about boilers other than how to turn the dials and whatnot...
With that in mind, is it normal for a combi-boiler to stop giving hot water when the radiator system is drained, or otherwise under-pressured?
I have a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W and whilst redecorating a room that required a radiator to be removed a seal failed in the outlet pipe for this now removed radiator resulting in a reduction of the available water for the radiator system.
I had thought the central heating and the hot water were two separate systems although now it seems otherwise. It seems odd that it would be this way.
Thanks in advance for any advice regarding these combi boilers.
