No hot water coming from bath mixer taps

Please help.
For some days now the hot water on the bath mixer taps became just a trickle and now there is nothing..not even a drop.
The cold water tap is normal and all the other taps in the house, including the hot ones are normal aswell.
Does this suggest the taps on the bath need renewing?
If so I have seen some tap heads which can be used to adapt or replace from the top without having to remove the bath panel for access underneath the bath.
What are you thoughts on this?

proberbly the tap mechanism itself, usualy the spindle gets jammed due to worn washer, and one part of the spindle coming out of its casing,take it out and youll find an hexaginal part with washer that fits onto the spindle and align it back in, with new washer on.p.s make sure water supplys turned off to the mixer.
