I have a mixer tap that I thought was working fine. There is now a slight leak though. Hot water comes out of the tap but when I remove the bath panel and look underneath the bath water is leaking from literally right underneath the hot water tap. Nothing is coming from the flexi pipe that is connected to the tap, it is directly under the tap. Is this a dodgy seal? Any ideas?

Thanks

The seal is a rubber O ring right at the top where narrow connector goes into tap body. Whole lot will need to but taken apart and remade with new O ring!

Do you have a bath filler or a monoblock?

If its a monoblock - then answer as mike2007 says

If you have a filler and x2 3/4" tap tails? Could be the rubber seal fitted inside the flexi pipe where it meets the tap tail, in which case you probably need a new flexi. Or If it's coming from higher up - Could be water from above seeping under the seal between the bath and the tap. Is there a shower by any chance in this area?
