Hi. We have increasingly bad water hammer caused by what I assume is a worn washer in the bath mixer tap, as it is also continually leaking. The hammering stops if you apply pressure to or lift up slightly the hot tap on the mixer. The tap is mounted on the side of the bath.

Is there any way of replacing the washer without getting under the bath and taking the tap out?

Here is the tap

That's a quarter turn tap almost certainly new ceramic disk cartridge required,. Heads will remove and cartridge will be underneath,
If you have original paperwork that came with tap check it out.
Otherwise take cartridge out and try a local supplier or take a pic of tap and use a on line supplier.
We use tap-cartridges.com

Thank you! Do you know how the head comes off? I can’t see any screws
