Hi
Was out on a job the other day when the dear woman mentioned the hot water on her Bath Shower Mixer tap was "noisy". She said this has only recently started. Now i dont know if this is coincidence, but she says the tap has also recently started dripping, and to stop this, you have to close it tight, which is not ideal for an old lady.
Any ideas what it could be? Could a worn washer cause a noise tap when its running? I told her i'd pop back to change the washer but was wondering if theres anything else i should check as i'd rather get it done in one visit.
The tap is one of these:-
