No hot water from my Worcester 24CDi boiler!!!

Phone your usual plumber and tell him what you have here, sound knowledgeable and say the diaphragm needs changing in the diverter valve. That way he can come armed with the right part (good engineer will always carry stock in the van), job done from 2 mins to 2hrs. :D

£10/£20 for the diaphragm, say £30hr.
 
Its a nasty job that i avoid!

You start be removing all those fiddly plastic filling bits at the front and some usually breay or are stuck.

Then a massive internal disection job.

Better left to a fixed price repair from Worcester!

I quite like doing them but I always fit a new DV rather than just the diaphragm. The Worcester kit comes with all of the seals that you need, the job just takes a little patience to clean out the o ring groves to make sure that there are no leaks when you put it all back together again..
