No hot water Worcester 24SBi

Morning,

Just looking for some advice. I have a WB 24SBi sealed system and currently the water isn't heating. It fires up and then goes off after a few seconds. I assume this is due to air in the system? How do I get the air out?

I'm a total novice here, but the heating engineers can't get out til the 28th, so if its a simple thing to do I'll have a look.

Is the system pressure ok? What reading is on your gauge?

Hi,

Pressure is fine over 1 bar. When the water is on on its own the boiler fires for about 10 seconds and then goes off. Then a sort of whooshing sound happens as if air is going through?
