No hot water

Hi all

Just got a call from my parents, they have no hot water at the moment

The boiler is a 40HE greenstar supplying an s-plan with x2 motorized valves.

All pipes either side of the valves are hot. all wires have a supply and the central heating is ok.

They have builders in at the moment that are working in the room that the wiring box for the whole system is, so maybe sme wiring has been loosened.

any ideas?

Is this a combi or one hell of a heat only boiler?

If one of your zone valves is controlling a hot water cylinder then you need to see of this is powered, opening and operating correctly.

Problem solved.

A wire had become loose and fell out, looks like it wasn't properly in place tbh
