NO HOT WATER !!!

hot water keeps stopping !!
have connected w/m hose from cold to hot at w/m under sink in kitchen and turned on to "flush " problem but only lasts 24 hrs until hot stops again !" any ideas???

If you have tanks in the loft,I'd go and check those first.Ball valve operation etc.

If by stops you mean no water comes out, could be a frozen pipe.

I go with the '45 year old gas man' who is free at last. The float valve might be stuck and only dribbling into the cold water tank and not filling it up. Up in the the loft you go, and while your there bring down the xmas decorations.

seems that fitting non return valves on taps in kitchen has cured problem!!
