My mate has no hot water from his therm-mixer shower? Cold showers every day.

to help we would need to ask u lads of questions......so instead you could desc the system/shower/problem/setup/tried solutions etc

Ok, Spoke to him and heres the story, shower is a pumped thermostatic (bar type) fed by hot water cylinder, he now says that you can have a hot shower in the day but not in the evening? Heating (boiler is on till about 10pm he tries to shower at about 8pm but its cold, tried it at 6pm and its fine (i told him to shower at 6pm) any ideas please.

needs to put the hot water on for longer pm ?.....just cos heating is dont mean hot water will result.

at 8 pm has he got hot water at the kitchen tap ?....and how much...ie will it run for 5 mins?

these r some simple checks 2 b done first.

He lives a while away and has no computer, i'll try and answer by phoning what ever you ask. He says he has plenty of hot water in all taps?
