no hotwater

hi, i have ideal icos boiler with a drayton water heater controller. this morning my hot water is cold but heating is ok and no faults on my boiler. Tried bypassing timer but still no joy . Sealed system with two motorised valves in airing cupboard

Whatever you do, don't touch the boiler. A working Icos is rare enough as it is.

You will need a DMM and some tools
from your question I would get a Service Company in to do it for you!

Valve is easy to check.
Turn ch and dhw off, and feel the resistance of the little lever on the valve.
Turn it on, and the lever should move back and forth a lot easier.
