I have a gap above new door filled with expanding foam to make up void and insulate i now want stick a piece of 90mm profiled plastic over it to finish off Can i use no nails type adhesive I have 2 full tubes that are not solvent based form a trade counter
i also have quite a few tubes of silicone which if any would be best or am i just faffing

Expanding foam is very porous, and that is that is needed for no more nails to hold onto.

Why not try a small dollop as a tester, and then if it works?
