I live in a ground floor flat (no gas so no boiler) and a hot water tank that heats my water. I have a mixer tap in my kitchen, and no pressure when turning on the hot water. Do I need to install a pump? If so what sort and where would I purchase it from for a reasonable price?

A reasonable pump shop. 8)
There are lots of traps to fall into with pumps in a situation like yours - eg running out of water, sucking in air....
Probably not a huge job but you'd be best advised not to just have a go, get someone in.
