Hi, I have moved into a new build house, plugged the TV into the TV point, tried to run auto-tune and I get nothing.
I’ve tried another TV point in another room, I’ve tried new cables, I’ve tried with/without an amp/booster and still nothing.
I notice in the garage there’s a Televes multi-switch with cables in place for terrestrial and cable inputs and 8 black output cables. There is power to the unit. I unscrewed the TV faceplate in the living room and there are two black cables (presumably 2 of the 8 black output cables that I can see in coming from the unit in the garage).
Any ideas as to what my problem might be? I’m assuming that there’s an aerial in the loft but haven’t been able to check I’m waiting on a loft hatch key from the developer. Might there be an amp on the aerial that hasn’t been powered up?
