No water coming into dishwasher

Hi, I'm hoping someone might be able to advise me ....

I have a Hotpoint Aquarius DWF30 which is not taking any water in.
The filter is clear of food and there are no kinks in any of the hoses. I also tilted it hoping I might dislodge a blockage but unfortunately not. I took off the side panel which contains a hose which is currently not attached to anything, should it be??
Can't see any obvious screws to take the bottom off.

Any suggestions would be appreciated,

any water in base of mc float swicth might be activated .can you post pic of hose
