NOISE FROM BOILER AND TANK ON SIDE

Would be grateful for any advise, we had a Worcester Greenstar 241 junior fitted in May and the last couple of days we have had a whirling noise coming from the boiler and also from a small box what looks like a tank with a clear pipe with water inside.
The boiler seems to be running ok but this tank whines constant

Many thanks glasgowgas, checked with hubby he confirmed it's external, just noticed Grundfos (type confit) on tank could this be the electric pump not sure now if i need a plumber or central heating engineer, husband disabled so trying to sort out without worrying him we have got Lloyds emergency home cover but would this be classed as emergency Again many thanks
